Well - WE DID IT!!!!!!!!
An amazing non-stop week came to a conclusion last night when a cheque for £11,421:00 was presented to Amanda, Carole, and Andie from all of you who helped turn the Ski A Thong week into an absolute blast!!!!
So many people made it a really special week, and certainly a week I will never forget.
The Ski A Thong itself was perfect. We woke to find that the mountain was virtually closed due to winds and fog - but by 3pm it was 10 degrees and bright sunshine. In all I think it was 12 in total who made the decent which was covered by natonal TV (BTV) and was screen twice last night throughout the whole of Bulgaria. Loads of other media were there to cover it so who knows where the final footage will turn up.
The Curryoke night was just brilliant with just about everybody singing at least 1 song and raised something like 2,000 levs.
Quiz night was also a great success with Banknotes team beating RobertTK's team in a sudden death play-off.
The auction last night also raised a huge amount of money and a big THANK-YOU to all who donated lots and bid on items.
As for Borovets ..............
Well, I didn't get to see it in all it's glory due to the lack of snow on the lower slopes, and whilst the hospitality was great it still did not impact on me the way Pamporovo does, and I probably would not return in the foreseeable future.
Fraser and Sarah did a great job in looking after us in the Iskar Chalets - food was first class and we enjoyed our stay immensley.
We found prices in the resort varied a geat deal but overall not too bad.
I'll go into more details later, but I have to thank Tiger Tim, Tufty Duck and Bibblyb0bs who worked their socks off all week to make it a really special event - cheers guys, you were awsome!!!!!!!

Yep. . .What a 36 hours. . .worth every penny. . . so glad me and Lesley did it . . . still shell shocked. .. . .flippin fantastic

I think the guy sitting next to us on the plane ended up shell shocked listening to us reliving it all the way back to Luton!!!

Well done to everyone. Set out to raise 1000 quid tio start with and ended up raising nearly half. Well done!

Spoke to Lazy Steve about this - he reckons the currents are too strong plus too many Jellyfish.
My thoughts were to do the 'Walk Of Life' from Sunny Beach to Nessebar raising money along the way and finishing up with a party on Steves Catamaran.
Up for it buddy?

May we worth starting at the marina in Vlas where the big money is! Although it's Bulgarians with big money! Would they give to the cause as it's in the mountains
