Just changed some sterling, 2.30 lv to the pound Very Happy
Not as good as it used to be a couple of years ago, but moving in the right direction.....

When they change to Euro's will they Lev become extinct or can we still use it for a while. Back in Jan 2010 and know it will be Euro's then?

I do not think it will be the euro in jan 2010 ? where did you get that from ? it would need preparation and I am not aware of any.

Thanks Dave - originally they did say Jan 2010 - but I have had a quick look on the web and it seems to be delayed as they are in a phasing period which lasts 2 years and there are other requirements they have to meet to before they can change. I'll investigate tonight at home and find the proper answer - I have been telling my mates we'll be using Euro's ! Woops.

Bulgaria will not use the Euro before 2012. The later the better, in my opinion. If its like Spain, they used both pesetas and euros for 2 monthe while they changed over, and what a mess they were in! Even now there tills show amounts in pesetas on the bill. Confused
