Morning,
Well finally it has stopped snowing, at least for now!! There is over 1.5metres of fresh snow in places and the outside tables have dissappeared again!!
Unfortunately, the wind is very strong again, so the gondola is shut to the top although it is open until the half-way stage today. Yastrebets 4man is also shut due to winds, so on this side it is just Yastrebets 1 (from mid-way to bottom) that is open.
Over on the Rila side all Rila and Sitnyakovo runs are open. Conditions on all runs are perfect with fresh powder and deep snow in some places. The only 'negative' thing is the cold as although it is not as cold as it has been (yet!) the wind is making it seem colder than it is.
Apparently Rila black is in best condition of the season...although as I only receive the reports by phone and type them up, I can't confirm this either way!
All in all, perfect conditions for half term as long as the wind drops down...

And if the forecasts are to believed, there is heavy snow starting Sunday and finishing sometime Tuesday. I think I picked the wrong week to stay in Samokov town |

Loving all the updates. Been keeping an eye on them for a month or so. Not sure if you'll remember us from last half term (Graeme, Nina and Bailey) but we're back again on Saturday with a couple of friends and are so looking forward to it, especially with all the snow. Can't wait to meet up in Bobby's Bar  ! 3 more sleeps to go! X |

Oh yeh...just stopped snowing for a bit, but skies are still blanket white and everyone has their shovels out.
Very very cold, so I suggest salopettes etc are at the ready on arrival, because it's seriously cold just wearing jeans....!! |

Don't worry EMJAY I have just been a bought an extra snow shovel for you, you can also shout at the snow plough driver when he buries us in again after we have spent an hour digging out the garage to get the car out. |
