Well, we had a great time at the Meet last night - and I have to say that little Logan is a star in the making. Skis at 100mph with no fear at all, and we spent most of last night exchanging coin tricks throughout dinner.
Great to meet Paul and Smad (and I now know what s.m.a.d. stands for  )
Dona - real pleasure to meet you and hope to meet up in Pamporovo some time.
Caroline and Bob - never a dull moment with you guys and such a blast to meet you again.
Steve and Wendy - remember Devizes is not too far for you to pay a visit sometime.
As for the Meet - well we ended up eating at a place called the Moat House .
4 starters.
9 carvery meals.
1 main menu meal.
Drinks for all.
Total Bill ---------- £65:10p - UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!
Nobody got wrecked and we ended up just after midnight back at the hotel where Bibblybobs decided to order a pizza to be delivered - and we sat out under the stars tucking in to that as well.
Had a great time and thanks to all who came along.

Sorry I missed you yesterday. I was a bit tied up in the afternoon, but looked into the Ladybridge Beefeater and the bowling ally to see if i could catch up with you in the evening, never mind, I didn't realy know who I was looking for. I'm glad if you enjoyed Tamworth, it is not a bad market town with a bit of history, (was capital of Mercia and has been around since Roman times). The Moat house is a real Tudor mansion. One of the army's in the last battle of the "war of the roses" camped the night before the battle, (of Bosworth) where there is now an industrial estate. Shakspeare mentions it....I could go on, and often do to visitors. (lol). But this is a ski BG site! I moved here from Portsmouth area about 15 years ago, hope you enjoyed Tamworth. Ian

Tamworth was a lovely place - and people were extremely friendly wherever we went.
Very impressed with the town and it's people.

PP, I was thinking about you all having fun and wishing I could have been there. Eating Pizza under the stars with good company sounds like an evening to remember. Hope there will be another meet soon which I can come to - can you make the next one in Pamporovo please lol

Have to agree Pete it was a great night and was fab to put some names to faces and meet new people. Am very glad my delightful son remembered his manners and didn't disgrace me ....although to be honest think I am generally more disgraceful than he has ever been lol.
Cobra ....thanks for the vouchers from what I remember we all used them and they saved us loads as we also got an extra hour free so thanks very much.
Will definitely be there for any future meets and do hope to see you out in pamps sometime am sure Logan would love to ski with you but am sure you avoid half term cos its so busy and thats the only time I can go 
All in all well worth the journey and Logan and myself had a fab time thanks to all the great company ( bibbly, tufty, smadd, bri, nightmuffy, steve, pete and angie). 
And the pizza alfresco topped off a great night

Good news. I was half afraid that the Snowdome might have a moan about so many being used all at the same time but Im glad everything was fine. Glad you had a good time. We will deffo be there for longer next time

I live not far from Tamworth and read this discussion board quite a lot as I go to Bulgaria frequently. I decided to go to the snowdome to put some faces to names, but had a puncture on the way (£80 new tyre) so did not arrive till 2.45 I looked for groups of people and asked a few groups if they were from this website but alas no, so will have to wait till i go skiing to meet some of you guys.

Lizzie - I threatened to wear the Tutu - but I think it was a "had to be there moment". Next time we'll put a desription of what we are wearing with our mobile numbers. (I was the irresponsible adult in a pink coat being chased by a fearless 6 yo tasmanian devil!!)
It was brilliant to meet up with those of you we know - and to meet Dona and Logan (What a charmer). I am afraid Bibbly is still calling you "Donor"

At the next meet those that were there this time can, complain about price rises, how crowded the slopes have become and the development that is just too much for the area

Sam, I fail to see what your post is doing on here. This post is about like-minded people meeting up to have some fun and simply enjoying each other's company. I am sure that their conversation was more about good experiences and the laughs - not the bad.
So why you want bring the meeting and this post down just to air your miserable opinion beats me. The answer to your problem is simply - just don't go back. There are those of us who accept that in any country things change but still go to Bulgaria because we enjoy it.

I think we cleared the slopes pretty quickly, and breaking the handrail on the second magic carpet was an ingenious idea! Who was that??
Buy one hour and the second hour was free... Plus Cobra's vouchers... however, the bar was British prices and you had to go yourself.
There wasn't much to moan about, but that wouldn't be very british. So I will continue to ask why travelodge only give you 4 "straws" of coffee and 4 thingies of milk, for 2 people staying overnight. (There has to be something to whine about)
Better luck next time Sam, hope you are feeling better. How's the humour tumour this morning Andie darling?

TD - I haven't had a drinky lately - explains everything doesn't it. I am a much better person when I am "drunk in charge of a keyboard" even if I do get into trouble. Perhaps I should have a red bull and vodka - that will put me back on my feet - or off them. Whatever!! Hope you and Mr Bobs are behaving yourself - if that's possible

Hi TD, not in BG yet - but almost. Off next Sunday (18th) and if they haven't got any further with my house those builders will be chucked out of their shed and up with go the chintz curtains and I will use the bricks to build a BarBQ lol. Hope you & Mr Bibbly will come and visit me one day.
And Sam, I may yet need that soapbox but only to sit on as I won't need good furniture if I end up living in the workmen's shed
