Bansko NEW YEAR

Hey All,

There is 16 of us going out for New Year week can anyone advise what to do New Years eve?

Does the Happy End have a big night on?

Looking for something lively with big tables so we can all sit and drink and talk and listen to music.

I thought Happy End would be the best place for this, based on the size of the place!!.

Any ideas would be great.

been there last 2 x-mas & new year, happy end closed for private parties both years, most of the places are usually booked out by the bulgarians.. most of the mehanas do a all inclusive night so book as soon as you land.. the fire works on new years are brill..

yeah we went for xmas year before last... really good. we land onthe 27th so will get something booked up early doors.

Hi can you tell me what the snow was like at christmeas in Bansko? Ive looked at the snow forceast history and it looks rubbish?

I beleive they have snow machines>>>>>?????

christmas is early for any resort, last year was fine and we were able to ski every day on most runs, in fairness the year before was crap and the lower runs suffered badly but was ok up top and still managed to ski every day, as bansko is not really a high altitude resort you just have to take the chance... you could go to the canaries and it could rain...

have an apartment close to glazne hotel.. and have booked apts nearby for the others..
