Hi all,

I'm out to Borovets with a mate 18-25 Feb 11. Staying at the Hotel Lion.

Firstly - Hotel Lion - Any good? Easy to get to the beer? Have I made a massive mistake booking there?

Secondly - Where do we have to go in Boro for an amazing night out? Any special events during that period getting loads of hype?

Thirdly - It's bloody cold out there now, goin to get warmer? (I appreciate you don't have a crystal ball but any clues?)

Finally - I can't bloody wait!

Lion is slightly out of Boro although is a nice Hotel and gets good reviews. Regular bus transfers during the day but if drinking in Boro later in the evening you may need to get a taxi back but they are not expensive but make sure of the price before you get in. The taxi rank is directly opposit Bobbys Bar which is a must. Make sur when you go in you announce who you are off the board and you will gwet discount.

Sweet! Thanks for that. Maybe should have booked closer to the resort but never mind.

I am definately going to visit Bobby's, especially with all Kas' useful posts on here.

Lets just hope the weather clears up. Fingers crossed for sun and single figure temps for next weekend!

I've heard this Rakia is some mean stuff. Loving the warnings all over the tinterweb about how strong it is.

We both enjoy a beer but I'm goin out there with an absolute drinking machine....feeling slightly nervous now! I'll be the one in the resort with dark sunglasses on drinking water! Booze Sad
