Just back from a belting week in Borovets where the snow was great . The last two years we skied in Bansko.
Obviously Borovets beats Bansko for the shorter transfer time. The food in Borovets apart from the Kharma bar seemed a little more limited ( plain english grub) wheras Bansko wins hands down with more choice on the menus and more of the local traditional food on offer.Borovets is prettier and more compact than Bansko but the shopping is better in Bansko.The skiing and the beer are the same and i would say the lift que's are the same but all depends on what time of the year you go.Overall i love both resorts and Bulgaria never dissapoints. | | | Reply to this message |
