I bought an apartment in bansko at the end of 2005 which was due to complete late 2007, as yet the apartment (the orchard) is not finished and i would like to call the contract void subject to it being 180 days as stated in the contract. I have sent the developer a letter and they have informed me that the building ban for the last 2 years has totalled more then 10 months and I am therefore no entitled to a refund. Could someone please confirm if there was a building ban in 2006/2008?

Bulgarian Dreams!
You will be in for a battle to get any cash back from them, but you'll be better challenging them of the fact they do not have building permission!!

Have a look at bulgaria.info and put a search in for bulgarian dreams, be prepared for a shock as you ain't going to like what you read ....
