Not too big a deal really if you paid cash for a property for your own/occasional rental use.
Borrowing to pay for a lifestyle though is always a risk and not just in BG.

agree using own cash is better but this must surely have a knock on effect to any future sales if potential purchasers have limited access to mortgages, just like in good old blighty!

I agree with Mr T Total, and now even better with Easy jet flying to Sophia from Manchester aswell as London.
Will be interesting to see what will happen over the next 10 years.
