Easter skiing

Has anyone any suggestions for late season skiing, school breaks up 30th March 2011, so would be looking early April?

A high resort, preferably above 2000m or you could go to lapland.

Save your money and go for a late deal, can see where the best snow is. Alternativly book Banff or some US resort, hubby was skiing in states in late may and snow was brill, season didnt end until July!!

We went to Bansko last easter for 3 days skiing and it was brilliant. And we have booked for this year as well, flying out Wed 31/03.

Thanks I'll have a look at Val Thores and Lapland, anybody been anywhere else, I don't really fancy the flight to USA- Canada for a weeks skiing ?

Forgot to mention, if you are considering lapland, be aware of the price of alcohol, its very expensive, £6-8 for a beer!!!. Still you can always spend the evenings gazing at the northern lights from a hottub!!.

last couple of years has been brill in Pamps .we had some late heavy snow .Slopes were empty nearly .Magic

went to Borovets a couple of year ago end of March- upper slopes were fine with plenty of sun!
kids got sun stroke though!
