re: Hello Steve C

Not a lot mate, still quite quiet, and we have had some awful weather. Seems we are paying the price for the glorious May we had Sad
We have been quite busy with transfers and have had a few rentals of our new mountain bikes with trips up the mountain so they can ride down and guiding around the Razlog basin.

We have been quite busy with transfers and have had a few rentals of our new mountain bikes with trips up the mountain so they can ride down and guiding around the Razlog basin.
The only activity on the hill is large numbers of old ladies collecting large stones off Tomba, and making huge piles of them at the bottom. At least the maintenance is continuing, and plans to put snow cannons on red12 are rumoured. The gondola runs every morning from 08.00 till 09.00, and again in the afternoon around 16.00. Have seen no activity on Akidemika, which is a shame, as was hoping that might re-open this coming season. The overiding thing is prices, everything seems to have dropped. I reckon its cheaper to eat and drink than it was 3 years ago, and with the exchange being around 2.30lv to the £ its great value. My parents are coming out today, we have got them a room with breakfast in the Orphey Hotel, going to be around £300 for the both of them for 10 days, not bad at all Very Happy
I'll keep my eyes open, and if i can report anything i will, the town is still improving, new tennis courts and astro turf football pitchs, odd bits of path have been relaid. The mall continues and should be complete for the season, buildings below the gondola are also near completion. We are looking forward now to a good few days of sunshine, kicking back in the square with a couple of beers, and fine food in the evening, its a job but someone has to do it Wink

re: Hello Steve C

n mice ??? Mikey, Mayor Kravarov will be up for re-election soon so we will wait and see, his competitors (one especially, very nearly beat him last time Wink) will be massing the troops to raise support, i don't think it is as important to Bansko as the possability of Unesco taking over the running of the Pirin National Park, now that could really effect things.... (rumours ???)
My view to the mountains is superb Cool
