Hi all,
I tried skiing for the first time last year in Borovets and this year I'm looking at dragging the family along. The problem is what to do with our 11 year old daughter, my partner and I both want to try snowboarding, but nowhere seems to offer snowboarding (especially as a learn to snowboard type pack) as an option for under 12's.
Our other option was for her to go skiing, which she's keen to do but last year my lessons finished at erratic times and I dont want to leave her at the far side of a mountain on her own!
Is there something obvious I'm missing here? Why doesn't anyone offer snowboarding for under 12's? The daft thing is that she's 5ft 3 and size 6 shoes so getting something to fit wont be an issue.
At the minute this is likely to force us to go somewhere more expensive just so we can all snowboard together.
