Today I received 2 e mails from the owners of BulgariaSki and BeachBulgaria.

LETTER 1

Hi Pete,
Long time since we last spoke... I hope everything is going well with you.
Unfortunately business has pushed me into a different direction and last few years I have not dealt with BulgariaSki on daily basis. I am still the owner of the website, but its opeartion and maintenance now is under the the team of Silky Holidays Ltd., which is owned by my wife Sylvia. I am co-ordinating with them the work on the website, but not dealing with it personally.
I understand that there has been certain stress and lack of understanding between the admin team of the web-site and some of the valued members of the forum. I am willing to solve these problems and continue the good relations between us, you and the other regular forum members. I will need some time to get into the things. I will also need your opinion and each demand that you have for the forum. As far as I remember, I gave you moderator rights for this forum years ago. Is this still valid?
By all means, please send me a letter with how you see things. I will have a meeting with the team of BulgariaSki this week and we will discuss all questions. My intention is to have the best solution for everybody. The forum of BulgariaSki.com is now 10 years old and has been recognised as the most valuable source of genuine info on the ski resorts of Bulgaria. We need to keep and improve this valuable service. For this year 2010 we have a business plan to develop the website, have a new design and concept and also improve greatly the forum with all the latest extras and possibilities for the members.

LETTER 2

Hi Pete,

Thank you for being loyal and concerned about www.BulgariaSki.com.
We are currently working over the new forum upgrade. We are now adding some new features, which will enliven the discussion board and will make it more fun.
As you have advised us, we will ask all users to register with a quick register form, just e-mail address and nick name, to avoid forum trolls. Thus everyone will stand behind their posts with their real name and e-mail address.
We will also add new smiles and an option for everyone to publish an individual avatar. We have already appointed our technical team to fulfill the changes, but as you know all the good things take time. However these innovations will be online on the site very soon. I will personally make sure, that you are the first one to know

Please accept our apology for the delay of the forum changes. I know that the financial crises is a lousy excuse, but it really took us a lot of time and technical recourses to work over competitive projects, rather than improving the forum which is favorite for so many people and is an excellent source of information. We are aware of that fact and will do our best to correct this lapse.
We also want to thank you and everyone that put so much effort in the forum, over the years, to make it as informative and useful as it is. Both our discussion boards have this charming appearance because of you and we highly appreciate it.

This year we also plan to develop the web site with a brand new design and concept, and we will also improve the forum with all the latest extras and possibilities for the members.
