HI Pete
Someone has just posted on our meet post to let us know that the snowdome shut the slope at 1 on saturdays for an hour to maintain the slope. Not sure if you were aware......if we are meeting at 12 by the time people get gear and stuff prob won't get an hours skiing.

Slope is shut from 1-2. So would need to either meet a bit earlier to get in a full hour or ski at 2 I think. I don't mind either way will just go with the flow just not sure if Pete knew they shut for an hour. Also didn't know if some people wanted to ski for longer than an hour. Still looking forward to it am sure will have a gr8 time anyhow

I cant get there until about 1.30 anyway so will possibly just watch anyway.

sounds ideal also means I don't have to get up quite so early to get there will aim for 12.30 to have lunch and chat and ski at 2 or should I say watch the skiing at 2 will take lots of pics.

Am hoping not to ski as I am not really that good so your daughter is more than welcome to join me.....can she not ski? Pete has said that he doesn't mind chasing Logan around but will decide on the day. Will bring my gear just in case as I may change my mind but Logan scares the life out of me when I ski with him cos I can't keep up lol.

she has only been once and dont think she would be good enough to do recreational skiing, it has been a couple of years as well. dont know if I will ski as all my stuffs in the loft and hubbys away so dont think I will get it out.

Yeah if mine wasn't still in spare room waiting to go back in loft I probably wouldn't bother getting it out either.....far too much effort. At least I will have some company whilst all the nutters enjoy the skiing

Hi guys,
As it is Bank hol weekend they may have different timetable. i will ring and find out!! also, i will ask if you need to book your skiing as usually its best to book before to ensure you get in. as its not in season it should be ok but will check for you.
the bars overlook the slope but there isn't one outside where you can sit and have drinky pooh!!

ok, timetable is same- morning session finishes 1.15pm reopens 2.00pm.
said would be advisable to book as it is bank hol weekend. think its £23.00 for the hour unless you are a member then its about £16.00. so anyone skiing will need to make sure you all book for the same time i.e 2.00pm. if you agree time then you all know whats happening.

BB and I will aim to get there for 12.30 ish and meet you in the bar/cafe then. Really looking forward to it... bit worried I've forgotten peoples faces (now sober ish) so will wear ski-a thong t-shirt.
Smadd - you better have a ski!! There'll be enough time for drinking from 3pm onwards!!

Aiming for 12.30 too and having never met any of you am glad you are wearing your t-shirt TD should be easy to spot. Am staying at the premier inn which I think is where everyone else is .....loving the sound of a PJ party though I will also bring my boots just in case especially as Cobra will be around he gave me some advice on my boots on the forum but would be gr8 if he took a quick peek if he had a minute C*** W*** see you all sat. By the way has e1 else booked for skiing as didn't think it would be that busy

Just wanted to let you know that I was at the snowdome yesterday and the whole bar/food area was closed for a refurb. Only the coffee shop was open which doesnt over look the slope. Stupidly I didnt ask when the bar/food area was re opening, might be worth one of you giving them a bell.
