PP snowdome shuts at 1

HI Pete

Someone has just posted on our meet post to let us know that the snowdome shut the slope at 1 on saturdays for an hour to maintain the slope. Not sure if you were aware......if we are meeting at 12 by the time people get gear and stuff prob won't get an hours skiing.

Slope is shut from 1-2. So would need to either meet a bit earlier to get in a full hour or ski at 2 I think. I don't mind either way will just go with the flow just not sure if Pete knew they shut for an hour. Also didn't know if some people wanted to ski for longer than an hour. Still looking forward to it am sure will have a gr8 time anyhow

I cant get there until about 1.30 anyway so will possibly just watch anyway.

Thanks for the info Dona - I was not aware of that.

Well, we've got all day so maybe we'll meet for a coffee first then ski at 2pm. Still loads of time

There is a coffee shop, a bar and restaurant facility at the Snowdome so you wont have any probs grabbing a drink or lunch whilst you wait for the 2pm session to start.

sounds ideal also means I don't have to get up quite so early to get there will aim for 12.30 to have lunch and chat and ski at 2 or should I say watch the skiing at 2 will take lots of pics.

Are you not skiing Dona? My daughter wont be able to ski so will watch with you.
