I'm guessing this is for flights other than Balkan which unless you get a late bargain is very expensive.
I'd like to see Brum flights, 30 minutes from me.
A sign that they're looking to develop the airport further?

Doncaster/Sheffield Robin Hood airport (bit of a mouthful!!!) allegedly fly to Plovdiv. Although my search for Feb half term didn't bring any search results.
Easyjet flying from Manchester to Sofia is good news though!

I put my vote in (as I don't appreciate travelling from Sophia to Pamporovo). The only problem I found after that was when I tried to get a price for flying into Plovdiv, it is not an option ! You only get Varna or Sofia as options. Why do Balkan have a web site for Plovdiv but no flight details ? We are about to book Pamps for Jan 2009 via Plovdiv, but will there be another late change in schedule I wonder (like this year) ?

I'm looking into flights at the moment for Jan 09, London or Brsitol to Pamps. Found some good prices and looking to hire a car this time. First choice apear to have flights from Gatwick to Plodiv but when I tries to find out times you couldn't book. any ideas why?
Would be great to fly into Plodiv.

Maybe there is a problem with their site - I booked the flights from Gatwick to Plovdiv for Jan, Feb and March at the end of June.

Just for your info the Gatwick flight to Plovdiv leaves Plovdiv mid evening on the Saturday - so you get an extra day (unless they change the times !)

I'm really lost. I telephoned First choice and they say they don't fly to Plodiv! Has anyone got a contact number. I don't know whether it makes a difference but I only need the flight no hotel as have my own appartment.

thanks for that info. I dont know whats happening though as i still cant get any flight details to display on the Robin airport website. I decided to phone their call team who then told me that they dont fly to Plovdiv. Obviously they do!! How did you book yours? And if you dont mind me asking what price did you pay. I have managed to get some good priced easyjet flights from Manchester, but the flight prices have doubled now and some family friends want to jion us now but dont want to pay £800 (we got the easyjet flight for £400 for 2 adults 2 kids).

Last year we bookied to fly to Plovdiv. Acouple of months before the holiday it was changed to Sofia. When we enquired this year with Balkan, we asked if it would be changed again, they said they could not guarantee a change ! It looks like Thompson can go there but not Balkan or some unknown reason.
