Well this seems like a really helpful forum so I'll give it a go!
Hi everyone - I am an Explorer Scout Leader from England hoping to take my unit skiing. We (the worldwide family of scouts) have a dedicated ski hostel in Switzerland in Kandersteg, however it is booked up for the Feb half term 09, as is the Girl Guide equivalent in the next valley over in Adelboden.
So, I am looking at alternatives and someone mentioned Bulgaria. I was wondering what sort of accommodation anyone knows of that will be useful for us. We will have 7 or 8 leaders plus about 14 Explorers going (aged 14 - 1 . We would need to have the leaders sleeping separately to the young people of course, plus a further split of females and males at Explorers age. We need accommodation that preferably does food, we would need ski hire, some would need lessons, drying room etc.
I know it looks like I'm passing the responsibility of organising the trip onto others, but if anyone can help it would be really appreciated!
