personally book in advance. whoever you book with should be able to offer you transfers.. never caught a cab from outside the airport so dont know how much they cost |

We have a taxi driver we use all the time - i think everyone seems to have their favourites. Will send you the details - worth getting a few more to compare the quotes.

i know this is the ski forum but we have customers flying into varna and travelling to golden sands on the 18th july.they do not fancy catching the transfer coach and would like to know if any one has any idea of approximate cost or a taxi transfer for 2 adults and 1 child.

H, what are your dates? My english friend has a bus that he uses for his airport pickups for his guests. If he has space and you are arriving at an approximate same time as his guests, you would be able to pop on with them and get a very good deal at the same time. |

Hi, for what it's worth, missus and me are in BG now and discovered that there is a new desk in Sofia airport - Terminal 1 for the taxi firm - OK Supertrans. There you can order a taxi - state your destination and they give you a slip with the driver's number plate to pick up outside. The price per Kilometre was 59 Stotinki and I'm guessing that you would need to double that for the [driver's] return journey. We used them around Sofia and found them to be very professional and true to the advertised price - by no means a given! Hope that helps. |
