The BIG NAMES in Slalom skiing are on there way!!!

The racers will arrive at the Plovdiv Airport tomorrow (11th February) on a charter flight from Munich. Among the skiers are Reinfried Herbst, silver medalist from the Olympics at Torino and with 84 World Cup appearances (9 wins) and 126 Europa Cup appearances (11 wins). Naoki Yuasa, who has 77 World Cup and 71 Europa Cup appearances with 3 wins is leading the Japanese team. Among the other famous skiers are permanent World Cup participants like Wolfgang Hoerl (AUT), Christoph Dreier (AUT), Tomas Fanara (FRA), Maxim Tissot (FRA), Matic Skube (SLO), Fillip Tejbal (CZE), Anton Landenpere (SWE), Markus Vogel (SUI) and Alexander Khorshilov (RUS). A late entry from Pamporovo Pete (GB) was declined as he could not find anyone to look after his dogs.

The details of the Event are as follows

Saturday 11th February

5.30pm - Skiers Parade from the bus stop to the Perelik Plaza Hotel.
6.00pm - Concert and Public Draw for start positions at the Perelik Plaza Hotel.
8pm - DJ Party at the Perelik Plaza Hotel.

Sunday 12th February

10am - 1st Run - Competition starts on The Wall.
1pm - 2nd Run.

6pm - Award Ceromony - Perelik Plaza.

8pm - Ski Party at the Orlovetz Hotel. (Sky Bar)

Monday 13th February

10am - Start of the 2nd day races. - first runs.
12.30pm - 2nd runs.
2pm - Award Ceromony at the bottom of the Wall.

I think there is a Brit taking part - last time I looked it wasn't you PP or me.

He may not win (ok won't win) but i for one will be on The Wall supporting!
