If it is nightlife then you have to consider Austria, the Grossraum area has seven villages including Soll, basically Benidorm on ice, loads of bars and nightclubs and reasonably priced. The sking is at over 2000m and extends to nearly 150km if you include the all area pass..
I said it is reasonably priced, that is by alpine standards and would be far more economic than the Trois Vallee. In my opinion (worthless i know Crying) Bulgaria generally offers the best value of anywhere food and drink wise but perhaps lacks the diversity compared to established alpine resorts, Bansko offers the best overall skiing be it limited in size and the snow record will compare with any similar resort of its altitude in the alps. I find it is the crowd you ski with that sets the tone, there is a good crowd in BG Very Happy

If you want it all you must come to Norway. The best place to go is Hemsedal. Its expensive here, but it will be a ski holiday you will not regret. Very Happy

In the winter....YES! But you can also ski in norway in the summer. At a place called Stryn you can ski in the summer, but its closed during the winter cause its to much snow there then. Check out web sites for more info. :-)

That sounds like the kind of ski destination that I relish. I may have to do some more research into the place and visit there sometome soon. I'm off to Japan this winter for some truly champagne powder skiing but can always squeeze in another ski holiday - Norway may be the answer!! Very Happy Booze

Troll
Norway seems to be the answer if you want good snow all season all the time.
Doing research at the moment on the place as well.
