Also some suggestions on nice places to stay that are in the centre and ski in/ski out etc.
Thanks

Sorry to hear that you will not be well enough to ski this season - we are in the same boat so I know how frustrated you must be!
The question you ask will no doubt receive a lot of conflicting answers as we all tend to support our favourite places and each resort has it's own special merits.
Having visited a 3 of the main resorts I still personally prefer Pamporovo but each resort shares pretty much the same level of nightlife.

Hi Lyndsey,
Sorry to hear that you will not be well enough to ski this season - we are in the same boat so I know how frustrated you must be!
The question you ask will no doubt receive a lot of conflicting answers as we all tend to support our favourite places and each resort has it's own special merits.
Having visited a 3 of the main resorts I still personally prefer Pamporovo but each resort shares pretty much the same level of nightlife.
Just to extol the vertues of Pamporovo - there is a covered shopping mall that links the Perelik and Morgavets hotels but most of these shops are skiing related. There is also a fairly large indoor swimming pool located midway between the 2 hotels. There is a bowling alley at the Perelik and a cafe at the very top of the Morgavets that will give you some spectacular views. Pony and trap rides run daily from outside the hotels.
Whichever resort you plump for I'm sure you will have a great time and just enjoy the chill factor.
i would recommend going back to borovets, problem with bansko is that depending how much snow there is, the other could fly up the gondela and you not see them till they come down a the end of the day. at least with borovets you can ski to resort at most of the time, means u can see them at lunch etc. (if you can get them off the snow!)
cant comment on pamps as i havent been there.
