hmmmmmmmm!

Hey,
Bansko this time, spot on resort for facilities, boarding and skiing, fun park, half pipe etc..they have spent lots of money on new equipment, 2740ft high , love it....
although all the times ive been... the food and the people have let it down. The food im not really sure how to put it, ummmm, yuk! and the people are very cold, im hopeing its because there getting used to there booming tourist trade and the money that is being spent there!!!

Never had a prob with food in Bansko personally. Eat out at the mehanas - it has always been hot (a rarity according to some reports on the board about BG generally) - always plentiful - and if you know the right places - at a good price too!!

It's usually the hotel food that gets the worst rating

By all accounts the 'Fun Park' should be up and running in Boro next year

Borogirl, people should try the Kempinski hotel in Bansko, fantastic food, no complaints what so ever from us over the past 2 years.

The park was great in Bansko too this year

Stayed in the Kempinski before and the breakfast was excellent, not like the last hotel i stayed in (Elegant) but we always "eat-out" in evenings, some mehana's good, some bad, trouble is , last years good ones change hands and become this years rip-offs!

we have always had good food, eat out all the time. sure there are bad places same as UK down side about hols though is if you pick all the bad ones your view is of bad food.
