had a drive down to ski centre 2 today, a new tarmac road has been layed from malina right down to near the lift.AA

AA, there appears to be a lot of road repairs etc going on at the moment.The road through Sokolovci (in beween the Pamps turnoff and Smolyan) is undergoing a road widening project at the moment. This is for when the road between Greece and Plovdiv is ready. All good news for the area but I bet Mikey gets on here with his opinion

hi, yes the pot hole mud strip from Malina Chalets right down past ski centre 2 and down to lift. pamps roads are all up too getting new water pipes put in. quite a few people in pamps, even saw the old flower seller lady.Hi Andie, we are in stoikite till monday, having a day out on Sat with Balkan Traks mountain biking, jeep and photography. drove to Trigrad Gorge today and Devin for lunch. Two large omlettes, mushrooms, ham and cheese, chips and cappucino all for £2.00 bargain

Hi AA, you will have a really memorable day with Terry (Balkan Traks). I was up in the mountains with him and Ali last weeked taking photos for his website. I met Arron & Nicky before they went off to St Vlas - it was good to see them and have lunch together. They came over here to Momchilovtsi (ooops - mentioned the Big M again

Hi Andie,Sorry, just read your reply, And we'd planned to drive up to ''M'' today for a look round but got side tracked. Would have been great to meet up, Unfotunately we are off home tomorrow, but definitely will meet up another time tho.

hi Andie,yes the biking was good and Alisons cooking was fab.
I was hoping to make arrangements while I was there to go to the Orphanage to face paint the kids but to cut a very long story short my daughter decided to have her baby 10 weeks early the morning before we left, so it was a last minute dash to pack and I forgot half the gear I needed.
Hopefully I can arrange something next time.
off to board the plane home now.
