Just came back from borovets and although I am no a Novice I realised that there is not many descent blue runs for this type. Also the 2 long green runs are not very good for boarders as there is slot of flat and uphills! Also the night life is decent plenty of activities to do like tubing etc. And lots of bars and quite a few Restraunts.

Only skied Bansko so cant compare to other BG resorts. I learned in Bansko as did my 2 kids and we all love it! Smile

Pamporovo is excellent for beginners and very family friendly.

Personally I learned to ski in Bansko, excellent resort for begginers, good begginer area some good blues to progress to and the 7km ski road home.
Though many people reccomend Pamps for begginers and it does appear a little cheaper than Bansko.
