Ross - you will have a great time. Only negative for us is that it looks like the snow will be poor but we went this time last year + had 2 ft of snow overnight so hopefully we will get lucky again!

Yes, if it wasn't coming in so much more expensive than this year. With our eldest being 12 in June and no free child places about for the youngest, it would cost about £1000 more. That's a lot of money!! So if anyone can suggest ways to do it cheaper????

yep already booked for half term next year and got a free child place.
Pam .....get yourself a good travel agent .....I phoned Thomson was told there were no free child places went into Thomson shop lovely lady phoned up and hassled and got me a free child place and as a single parent they are hard to find. Apparently they are going really quick cos all LEA's are having the same week for half term. But if you are travelling out of term time should be ok.

Been to both andorra and borovets this year and still enjoyed the off piste in boro better. You cant really guarantee the snow anywhere as when in andorra there was hardly any in jan!!!
As for it being expensive to get to bulgaria, why dont people try booking independently through people with ski property, and fly easyjet/wizzair etc. Just spent a fab week in a house 20 mins from boro that sleeps 6 for £200 for the house, £60 flights, went to boro every day skiing but spent the evenings in local bulgarian restaurants where 3 course meal and drinks are still £6 each!!!!
Sorry not a yes/no answer but would definately go back and do the same deal again!!!

Went to Pamps this year on a package(crystal),paid roughly £1500 for three of us(wife,son( & me),half board & including skis,ski-school & lift pass

I agree with Rachel.
Having just arranged a flying visit to Boro by Whizz Air for the ski a thong, I will now arrange our own package for future family holidays. I am a BG lover, but prefer to escape Boro for the cheaper and quieter surrounding town and villages. I have always felt safe in Boro but get fed up with some of the loutish behaviour.
Your money goes a lot further away from the resort and there's other things to do and experience. Trying Easy Jet in May, so can let you know if there's much difference between the airlines.

Jeez Alex. It was a simple comment. I loved Pamps this year, and we did have a fab time. When we were there the snow was excellent. BUT... I know that the snow conditions have deteriorated since the week after we returned home... and I know they were bad last year. For us the brilliant thing was that our 7 year old could ski from the top of the mountain to the bottom and our 5 year old could play on a sledge at the bottom the whole week. If the snow conditions weren't good, I wouldn't want to go. So probably was my answer. But I was interested to see other people's reasons for saying Yes or No. Sorry, I've had a rant and a ramble now!

Unless you like skiing on the same slope all day every day, I don't quite understand the people that say yes!
Was in Boro last week, dare i say it...but good luck to those of you skiing later than last week this year as its hard to ski on grass!!
Will spend my money else where next year!

Yes - going in April again half term week. Looking at the last few years April does seem to yeild a fair bit of snow whereas be seems not to be so good.
