Hi all, I've got a great chance of going to Bansko very cheep over xmas and new year (2weeks) stopping in a friend appartment. Whats skiing conditions like at that time of year, I've only ever been late Jan and it was ok then????

If we were to consider last year then it was the busiest Bansko has ever been, with the influx of visitors from Serbia, Greece and beyond and the transporting of skiers from Pamps and Boro... This was down to the simple fact that Bansko was the only place with snow (God bless those snow cannons)
Previous Christmas/New Year periods have not been to bad visitor wise, but the snow conditions can be a bit hit and miss. I guarantee there will be snow, but as to how deep and what the skiing ...
