For Anyone using OK supertrans in the last years anything fine, but in the Hall near the office a gut is running and catch you to usw another cab with really nearly Name and sign and even phonenumbers, br aware of the CK Taxis they want to charge you Double or more as the normal rate.Sune

Hi Sune,Thanks for keeping us up to date on such thinks. As you are aware it will be so easy to get from the airport to borovets once the new metro line is open. I know the metro line is opening from the airport early 2015, has anyone got the actual opening date. Airport to Borovets less than £5 and that includes a beer by using public transport. Great if you have the time.

You make a good point, must be the cheapest airport to ski resort transfer in Europe and it will not take much more time than a taxi.
Like you say the opening is supposed to be early 2015. How early I can't find out, so without more information I will still be there to meet you in January, not long to go now.

The Latest I read about the Metro opening was April 2015, I could imagine that they will have a great celebration for Eastern, May be the Metropolit will open the live, with the Raster fire from Israel...Sune
P.S. Yes that you will do it in 90 minutes to Samokov, if you not got one of the view buses via Dolni Okol

But now, the latest from the quick transfer with metro front...
Best to come from the Airport to station Mladost 1, nearby The Mall. You just have to change the road sight, the buses from the busstation south stopps at the end of the big city bus station. And on the way to the Airport, the buses stops at this point usally. So easy to come back. If you have some time and thirst on the other side ...

It will be very easy once the metro is open to get off at Joliot Curie, then only 200 meters to the south bus station. Autogara Yug.

Hello John,Yes the buses from Sofia South going straight to Samokov and you can change at the busstation to the Borovetz bus.
In winter the buses from Samokov to Borovetz going every half hour and cost 1,30 lev.
The price for the ride from Sofia depends of the company between 5 and 6 lev.

Hello Sune,Thanks for your reply we will have to try this when the metro opens apart from ski season we are coming over in July next year. Hopefully we will meet one day as I see you visit quite often.
