AL 28-29.01.2015 Borosport Cup
Just found this on the borovets website, as guessing it's recently been updated as i was trying to search for any events that may have changed my mind to go back to Bansko instead, so getting a little worried.
Anyone know anymore about this event, and if it's one that closes several runs and has them closed a month before (like Bansko did with their ski world cup event back in 2012 which was super annoying).
Just want to know now really what to expect ...

PS. can't wait to go back to Borovets though, as 2010 was too long ago, and a rubbish year for snow at that!

Hi Dean,If it is the same as last year they only closed yestrabets 1 for the race.

But didn't they also close it for the week prior to the race while prepared it?

I mean the event is 28th and 29th, i'm skiing between sunday 25th and friday 30th, so hopefully they would open it back up the day after? so i at least get to ski it aha...

There are 4 of us (guys) coming out to borovets on the 28th, we changed from Bansko when I heard about this, so glad I found out before hand!

Hi allI was there last year when this happened and they did only close the 1 run and it was closed for a few days prior to prepare the piste. It was not too much of a problem and even less so with even more runs with cannons on them this year.
Jason - We will be out when you are there so you guys should come along to Bobbys Bar and get involved.

I am 1000000% sure we will be in bobbys at point! We have 2 beginners, 2 seasoned and 4 rather heavy drinkers! Lol2 of us have been to Bansko the last 2 years, so will be a nice change of scenery
Praying for snow already!

my curiosity and wanting to know did get the better of me so i emailed them...'For this event we will closed one runs only in the morning.'
if that is the case then i'll be happy
