Ive never paid 8levs for a large beer in Boro.
Average in town this year was 4levs. Up the mountain last year was 5levs. As already mentioned Alpina was 1.80lev max
Yes the Alpina does do food. All very reasonable.
Its a mix of of things like typical eggs, beans (proper heinz), burgers, chips (kept the kids happy) type stuff. A few local things like Karvarma and a few specials i.e. whatever fresh stuff Arie can get his hands on and do something with. Oh, I nearly forgot, Arie does a fantastic bread and butter pudding with custard!
I just got back from Boro and yes the price has gone up but not that much !! i never paid more than 4 lev for a pint, and as Cobra pointed out the alpina which is opposite the flora hotel is very very cheap...
It's only small but at 40p a pint between 5 and 7 what a bargin, hot choc and brandy was 4 lev and that was for 100mls of brandy !!
I spent £10 in there one night and come out steeming drank all sorts..

Hi Mr p.
Last year the average price was around 3 lev a pint.
Dont want to worry you but we stayed in the Rila and the food was poor to say the least so i would find the Alpina on the first day.
On saying that you will have a brilliant time so dont worry.
MR P , I stayed at the Rila. My family found the food ok. It wasn't the best in the world but we all found something we liked, for breakfast and dinner. you'll have a great time no worries.
