Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I went out and bought it last night and what a case of sensationalising the story. People go skiing ...... drink beer shocker. Next thing will be that something called après ski has been invented. Yes it is sad that someone died in Borovets but it would appear they are picking up on an earlier story on Sunny Beach as a result. I have only been to Borovets twice, 2010 and 2013, and found it to be a fun and lively place with affordable prices and nice normal people. I did have a drink or two and my wife did find the stag group who were stripping interesting but we had a great time and will definitely be back, snow permitting. It's the only resort I have found so far with such a great Discussion Board with people so passionate about the resort.

I do also think the Sun will find an après ski scene in most Alpine resorts with drunk people who take their clothes off and fall over, and strip bars too in quite a few of the Austrian ones. If they watched snow, sex and suspicious parents they may have found some more 'antics' worth reporting!

I've also been coming since about 2000 and during that time more people have died on the Avalanche than taking dodgy drugs and drink. Unfortunately 2014 was the first time that a member of my family was threatened with violence, these things happen anywhere of course and it was a shame that the English thug didn't threaten me instead rather than my Stepson. As I see it articles like that do unfortunately promote a place for the wrong reasons. I mean I would expect a few more young people might be heading out to Sunny Beach this summer in the hope that is really like that and maybe more groups of thuggish blokes might head out to Borovets in the hope of some cheap beer, women, drugs and plenty of others to fight. I suspect that the article may already have been forgotten about so maybe no damage done until of course E4 send a camera crew out to film snow, sex and suspicious parents
