Hi all
this is a really bizarre question on behalf of my 11 year old so apologies in advance. This year we are staying in the Rila, the previous 2 years we stayed in the Ela and Moura which were very nice and which I would recommend, however the TV's in the room were ancient. I notice the Rila has had a massive refurb so I am wondering if this extends to the rooms and if so do the rooms have flat screen TV's ? I am trying to wind him up to fever pitch excitement so this information, ...

I can't tell you about the rooms but we have been in the lobby bar andit is a really nice, a massive improvement. Also on the first level there
is a terrace with a bar, very good views over the slopes, nice new
wooden furniture and gas heaters. It's been well done.

Looking on the Rila website, the new facilities do look really nice. The pictures of the rooms are showing "cube" TV's....I get a sneaky feeling no flat screens......not that we are there to watch TV .................

Nick,I´m pretty certain that when i was there in November looking at the outside construction of the Rila i was informed that the rooms were not being refurbished.
I too asked this question.

Yes, rooms have not been refurbished, just not enough time to do everything over the summer. Hopefully they will be done next year!Same old TV's I think

I hope Borosport don't spend all of their money on the hotel next year, we still need more snow cannons.
