Ryanair to Plovdiv. No weekend flights....

Anyone know if Ryanair are planning on running a weekend flight this year? Not sure if they normally do, think it might always be a Thurs and Mon (or something like that) but with the schools clamping down on days off this year could be an issue. All other weekend flights to Sofia are so expensive I think I might have to look elsewhere unfortunately...

Just Fridays and Mondays so far sadly. We have found some reasonable flights with Lufthansa going via Frankfurt as EJ were so expensive

Thanks for responding. I've given up I'm afraid. Even with Air France or Lufthansa it was really expensive and that obviously includes an extra stop and landing at Sofia. I've decided after 6 years to go to Jasna in Slovakia as could get cheap flights and comparable costs when we're there. I think I'll still come for a weekend in March though with a friend. Need to get my fix!

yes it is disappointing that Ryan Air have taken that decision - a backward step certainly for Pamporovo.

However, with the flights being on a Friday afternoon and a Monday evening they do lend themselves rather well to a 3 day short break to Pamporovo. Arrive half 8 Friday evening, Ski for the full 3 days; Sat, Sun and Mon and then depart Pamporovo for Plovdiv airport at 5pm on the Monday evening. If you live in the South East that would make a great short break don't you think??

Agree completely; am looking to book up to do that in March. Currently returns around 60 quid!
