Where to book

New to Bulgaria skiing...can anyone help where is a good place to book for cheapest deals? Thinking of Lion hotel or Rila although not fully decided!

re:Where to book

The Lion is a little way out of the resort and you catch a mini bus -but the Rila is in the centre of everything-the Alpin is a super small hotel right on the slopes ( opposite the Rila )and with their own ski supplies from which you step straight onto the slopes.(check trip advisor) I have stayed at all 3 in the past.

Would you favour one over another?

Thank you for your comment!!

Hi Fiona

There are many hotels near the centre. The Rila and Alpin are great, you may also want to look at hotels like Flora, Samokov, Ela, Breza, Lilly of the Valley, Iceberg and Moura. All of which are near the main part of the resort. There are hotels further out also if that's what you prefer. We have a Facebook group set up to help with any questions and to help people who new to Borovets. Its called 'Borovets 2017-Snow, skiing, boarding and everything else - information group'. ...
