Hi Avalanche, were the conditions OK. I have also been many times and am taking my 8 year old for his first trip. Is the snow OK for beginners. You know what its like, if its a bit hard it hurts when you fall over!

Cheers Boris.

hi boris , conditions were good last week , and the webcam is still looking good . i also took my son skiing when he was 8 to boro , a great place for children and beginners . (he s 30 now and a snowboarder ) . snow fall and temperatures will decide on the piste conditions , so fingers crossed they will be good for you and your son .

Sorry to hear that it was disappointing, Russell. Heading there tomorrow night with friends, who've not been there before. I told them that it would be a great place for beginners and how fun the place is.

I've been twice before and had mixed snow conditions but overall the experience has been positive including in the hotels, bars and restaurants.

Bang for buck I'm sure it's still a lot cheaper than heading to either France or Austria. I hope I won't be disappointed.

Hi Colin,
Still a lot cheaper than France or Austria, Switzerland, Italy and probably most other European ski destinations.
Trouble is, sad to say, you get what you pay for.
