Bit of Advice for April Borovets

hi, we have booked for the 4th april for Borovets, will there be snow on the nursery slopes? as its the kids 1st time and they are so excited. It looked excellent last year. Would you still be able to ski to door of Rila?
ps. only going so late because of Schools!thanks

its very late in the season but whilst you probably won't be able to ski to the Rila there are nursery slopes on the top of the mountain that are likely to have snow. If you're going with a tour operator I'd definitely check with them that the resort will still be open as they sometimes close at the end of March if the snow is not so good.

Gone through operator and kids in learn 2ski, so take it that means open for business.

as Mat says April is the end of the season. but the season seems to be starting very late this year so maybe it will go on a but longer in April.

dont worry the hooker on the corners at night stay till the last punter leaves the resort at the end of the season , so if theres no snow you can still get your fun else where

They don't - I know for a fact that they vanish with the end of the package tours in late march. Ohhhhh, woops....

i think last year the best snow of the season was mid march to easter in borovets. i would say an early april gamble isnt as risky as christmas. as many have said the season seems to have moved back lately.
