I too have been twice - once to Arinsal and last year to el tarter.

We had an excellent time but would maybe choose soldeu over el tarter next time as there was no night life at all in el tarter.

Took a day trip to Pas de la casa and thought it looked tired. It seemed like a kind of clubby place Sad

Skiing is excellent in andorra. Go for andorra! Smile

I have not been to bulgaria yet and am due out to bansko on 3rd. (not too sure what I have let my self in for as after reading some of the posts on this site am wishing I had booked elsewhere.) If I had read this board before booking I would definately not have booked.

Will go and see and try and make the best of it.

been to Pas de la Casa twice and both times had a fab time. Nightlife is excellent. Best food at lunchtime from the last restaurant up the left hand side of the mountain. Cant remember its name. Dont go looking for stylish and swish as you wont get it but places i stayed were warm and clean enough. Some great shops, even some designer gear!!! cheap booze and fags!!!! A++

Going to Borovets on 3rd march!!

i have been to Soldeu, stayed in the hotel piolets, personally i thought the hotel was better in Andorra (stayed at the Samokov twice and the eidelweis in Boro) skiing depends on your ability, if you are intermediate to advanced then there are more challenging runs in Soldeu and also more selection. I think the instructors in Boro seemed to be better than in Soldeu but i haven't had lessons in either so i can only comment on what i have seen. I think if you are looking for good skiing and ...

I think if you are looking for good skiing and nice hotels then you will enjoy Soldeu, the only down side about it is the long transfer time from Toulouse airport!

Been to Princessa Parc in Arinsal & Sport Hotel in Soldeu - Princessa Parc fab hotel but Ski-ing in Soldeu was better - Ski school in Soldeu was first class - I had a young guy called Ian who was brilliant and I came on leaps and bounds - Towards the end of the week he gave up teaching us and we just went & played - Through the woods - Over ski jumps - Thru a natural half pipe - It was hilarious - My other half is an ace skier and he did ski school and had a blast too - Will be back to ...
