Bulgaria vs Romania Skiing

I am sorry to mention Romania on this Bulgarian site but I am interested to know what people think between the two countries and their respective ski resorts. I am trying to decide whether to ski one country or both.

Also for interest am I likely to have any luck if I was to turn up between christmas and new year in the hope of getting accommodation in any of the Bulgarian resorts.

well if ur a begginer i suggest pamporovo, bulgaria intermiete borevets, bulgaria or romania and expert bansko bulgaria

So hard question never been in Romania but 16 times in Bulgaria, all in all think Bulgaria got the higher development and the better skiing conditions and it is much safer. So I think an I traveled sometimes in Bulgaria by the local transport buses and by bike, so I can permit me an oppnion about this...
So you can leave the resorts without any fear, I'm not sure if you can do this in Romania...
