Having said that if the chalet thats fully booked is Iskar then i know they've just taken another on for the season so it might be worth your while dropping them another line..

If you have no clue what i'm talking about then drop me a email and i'll send you the details..

re: Chalet in Borovetz

Isn't Govedartsi a fair way out from Borovets ???

Surely like staying in a hotel in Samakov, and calling it Borovets ..

There we go...

re: Chalet in Borovetz

Govedartsi is one of the villages outside Borovets. Just like there are various satellite villages around the major ski resorts in France, which go by the resort name eg at La Plagne. If you are a group andwant to stay in a chalet, as opposed to an apartment or hotel, then you have to be prepared to stay outside the centre, where there are very few chalets.

re: Chalet in Borovetz

That's better...

Please be advised there is no bus link, like they have in La Plagne and the ski areas arn't linked either,so if you want to stay outside of Borovets and have to travel the 6 or 7 miles in by taxi"if you can find one in Gova wotsi" then by all means stay out there..

My recomendation stays at go to a nice hotel like iceangels or go selfcatering and eat out..

re: Chalet in Borovetz

Yea,but not a ski bus like in most French resorts..

You try catching a bus at 1AM in Borovets... Razz

Think it would be a great idea to link Boro with the little resorts around it,knowing Borosport then maybe in 20 yrs..
