Hi everyone, flying out on Saturday and can't wait! Can anyone tell me the current rates of exchange available in resort? Looks like the conditions are improving, just hope they are good enough to do my favourite run from the top of the gondola down to yastrebets!See you all next week,

best rates in bank and or hotel reception ...... beware booths prices on board , as usually display buy price not sell , always ask what rate in a booth before you hand overtake crisp 10 and 20 notes , un marked or torn

In terms of the Booths, the Crown Booths are absolutely fine as are the Banks (there are 2) and all the cash-points (there are 6.)
Today's bank rate in Borovets is: 2.89 - slightly better that last week as it went down slightly. It is actually 2.91 here in Samokov today, so if you are coming in through Samakov, would be worth seeing if you can get your driver to stop in the town before you go to Borovets, although if you are on a operator coach with reps etc it may not be ...

Though 2.89 is a pretty good improvement on the 2.15 available in the UK from Travelex!!!

Wow Kas that's one hell of a rate.The International Business rate for today (which is better than tourist rate) is only 2.32 (I was getting 2.25 in Chepelare last week).
So if you can get 2.8 or 2.9 buy up as many as you can :-)
