Pomporvo

Looking at Booking a Thomsons package including ski Tuition.

Has anyone been on a package like this? I am a reasonably skier, but my friends that I will be travelling with are new to it, will we be able to have instruction at our different abilities?

Yes, but in different classes.
The ski school has 4 grades of instruction (I think).
"A" grade is for beginners, "B/C"s are intermediates and so on.

you will be very surprised at how many instructors there are, we have been going to pamp for the last 3 years and the instructors almost out number the pupils.
You'll love it!!!! Try and get in the groups either with Metto, Steff or Nellie.
We wouldn't go anywhere else

check out balkan holidays - the ski packages are much cheaper than with Thompsons, and use the same school. Our instructor Ivan was superb and our group was mixed ability - even the beginiers were skiing green runs with some skill after only 2.5 days.

if you book balkan - can recommend Finlandia hotel was excellent though bit off the beaten track with transport provided when required.

I too recommend booking through balkan hol's, strongly advise you to stay at pamporovo hotel--it is the best and not too expensive.

I got a better deal with inghams, they knocked about £40 off balkans prices, and if you look carefull they offer single use of twin rooms, with no suplement on some weeks, in some hotels. perilik in pamporovo being one. Bonus for us as we are four lads travelling together, but of very different idea's on socialising. 2 dont drink, 2 of us love clubbing, 2 dont etc. its great means we wont be disturbing one another so a big bonus.
