There will be no longer queues this season than any before, the races are Europa Cup, no tv coverage, much lower security, and the mountain road should be open to normal traffic. Busy times have been Christmas and New Year, half term, and BG National holidays. The best snow conditions are in the hands of the gods, though mid Jan to mid Feb seems to be the best option. Personally i think March is better, longer days, more sunshine etc, but the conditions can get heavy...
Stratzhite Hotel opposite Lion pub, Balkan hotel, reasonable position, not badly appointed with facilities, could do worse...

I went last year in March and we had the biggest umping of snow I have ever sen in Bansko!!

Absolutely no queues at the lifts ..

Deals in most restaurants because of hardly anyone there ..

and we were upgraded to the Stratzhite hotel because the one we booked had closed due to low occupancy ...

All in all it was brilliant

and the best bit of all was this ....

Schedule flights from Heathrow .. transfers .. 4 star hotel .. Breakfast inc ... Ski Hire .. Boot Hire ... Lift pass .. Ski School .. all for £378.00 ...

Now that's a bargain!!
