Hi, I was just wondering weather you can keep your skis and boots in a locker of some sort at the gondola in Bansko...Im staying at the bottom of the town and dont fancy carrying my skis up the hill every morning.
Hello John, not sure if you own your own ski's or not.
As far as I am aware there are no lockers for hire at the gondola.
If you dont like lugging the equipment around, I suggest you hire your kit from a supplier around the gondola. This will enable you to return your kit at the end of each day. Unfortunately you will need to queue for you ski's etc everyday before you queue for the gondola.

If you are staying in a hotel in Bansko, most supply courtesy buses with room for ski's etc, and usually run every 15 mins.
But if you own your own kit and are staying in an appartment this advice will be of no use to you!!!!
If you own your own skis and boots there is a storage facility in Bansko gondola station. It is located on ground floor right hand side of staircase that takes you up to the gondolas (outside of locker room is where all the Ulen instructors gather). To store skis overnight is 10 lev per night. We just stored our boots overnight and that is 5lev per 24hr period. This is a really good deal as the 5 lev charge was for a cubicle on rack and Mikhail stored all 3 sets of our boots in the one ...

This is a really good deal as the 5 lev charge was for a cubicle on rack and Mikhail stored all 3 sets of our boots in the one cubicle for 5 lev 24hr period as during the day we stored our walking boots (we were staying relatively near to the gondola but it's sooo much more comfortable walking in normal footwear). Mikhail was happy for people to leave their ski helmets with skis as well for no extra charge. Mikhail is a top helpful cheery bloke and couldn't do enough to help you, his English is limited but when we made the effort to try some Bulgarian phrases his face just lit up, top bloke.
Agree with Sam, Mikhail is a top bloke.... Granted it was 3lv a night when i came out here first 7 years ago, for boots and skis, ah well, thats progress
