Daniel, I appriciate the response, seems fair enough, no arguments there. As i said, i don't know anyone here, just read the message board from time to time and have no idea of the arguments behind the scenes - if there is good reasons behind your decision then fair enough. On a positive note it's a very good site, very imformative, just don't let the arguments spoil the message board... infact i quite like them, adds a little spice and spike to the board!. Steve.

Steve thanks for the comment's. The only reason's Myself or Pete delete anything on here is if it contains racist comment's excessive swearing, personal abuse etc and then we warn the poster. If like our "friend" above they continue then everything they post is deleted.

As for the argument's I agree it adds to the spice of the board and as long as they don't get ott we leave them alone.

I repeat for the millionth time (not to you Steve!) negative comments about Bg are left on here ...

re: Borovets

Hi,

I'm trying to decide where to go skiing next season (2007) and I'm currently considering Borovets Vs maybe France. I know a couple of people who regularly go to Borovets and say its good but I'm a bit put off by its reputation as a bit old fashioned and under invested in, also there is only 42km of piste. Comments or recommendations appreciated. Also an indication of what I'd be looking at for a week half board in a hotel.

Cheers.

Matt.

re:

If you want modern facilities with an Eastern European feel and price it's worth looking at Bansko. The locals are very nice, the food is great especially if you try the local dishes and plenty of great bars and hotels. Highly recomended.

re:

I would recommend bansko as well, very good value, about 65km of pieste not quiet france but then not quiet French prices give it a go.

re:

It's great !!! There are hardly any French people there yet.

I met some French people in Bansko last season who said that they have had enough of over inflated French prices and they would be returning to Bansko for years to come.
