Hi mate, i was thinking of going out to Bansko but am a bit iffy about the snow conditions, they were good last year at that time but the year before there was no snow! Don't suppose you have any info on what the snow is likely to be like do you?re: ***** boro_dave *****
Are you talking about near the end of the season?
I went to Borovets 3rd of April 2004, the only good skiing was on the high pistes. I understand that at the time Bansko had much better conditions because many more of its pistes are covered by snow cannons, however i still think you had to go high up the mountain for good skiing there as well.

For this year, i cant predict the future, but i know that the amount of snow in bulgaria right now is much better than at any time last year (according to some people - the best snow for 20 years), so this is hopefully a good sign for the end of this season.
Im going to Borovets on 19th of March this year, hopefully we'll get better conditions than last year.
