Have seen the airport lounge thing – does it offer proper pints etc… and how early can you go in.Also do you have to prebook or can you just pay on arrival for Manchester?

Dont know about manchester. Belfast was open early. Free drink all right. If theirs a crowd of you, enter in pairs. if yougo all together they may tell you at the start there is a limit. Snacks are fruit, biscuits , scones, coffee etcre: ***Bobs Money Saving Schemes***
Cost at Manchester is £16.50 pp and you can go in 3 hrs before flight, beer is all bottled, becks, bud etc and you can have any wine or spirits you want with your own measures. Snacks are either crisps,nuts, cheese and biccys and cakes etc. Also Sky TV and no hassle getting served. Stick a few tinnies in your rucksack for on the plane
