Hi we're flying tomorrow to Bansko, and I heard it was £1 just to read a text on a locked sim. I've just read another thread about unlocked phones and to buy sims out there, but it's too late for us, so I wonder if anyone has any good advise on what to do? THANKS
We recently came back from bansko, bought local sim cards from sports shop opposite Hotel strahzite ( think thats how you spell it) for 20 levs with 15 levs credit on. my phones where allready un-locked but he said he could have got them unlocked for me,reall nice bloke, fitted the cards in and set them up for me he even offerd to buy the phones at the end of the week!. I got the idea from reading this site and over the week it worked out perfectly and i reccomend it.Last year i spent £100 ...

Just got my phone bill from two weeks ago.I only used it for texts.20 Pence per text ! I think it depends on which network you are on.Our local Telecom company here in Jersey have an agreement with the Bulgarian network we were on. I agree with P.P. though , turn the bloody thing off for complete peace of mind.
