It's obvious that not everybody can get onto this board all the time every day, and often key features can be missed, as well as some of the more light-hearted fun eliments that this board enjoys.
Having made a few phone calls today to Bulgaria, I now have reliable contacts in each of the 3 main resorts to update me on current issues.
So, as of this Sunday I will be starting a new feature to be posted each and every Sunday evening (approx 8pm) until the end of the season which will ...
Having made a few phone calls today to Bulgaria, I now have reliable contacts in each of the 3 main resorts to update me on current issues.
So, as of this Sunday I will be starting a new feature to be posted each and every Sunday evening (approx 8pm) until the end of the season which will ...

* Exchange Rates in Bulgaria. (v £ Sterling)
* Issues Of The Week.
* Best Posting Of The Week.
* Best Joke Of The Week.
* Worst Posting Of The Week.
* Worst Joke Of The Week.
PLUS ANYTHING YOU CARE TO RAISE. (keep it clean!!!!!)

Please be aware I will not be answering questions like.....
Are there kettles in the Prespa.
What's the exchange rate at the Perelik reception.
Can you get Fosters in Bansko.
It will be more of a review of the week, and I will make it as imformative yet light-hearted as I can.
Sorry that it's late in the season to start this, but everything has to start sometimes and if you find it worthwhile I will continue it next season.

Nice idea Pete - for those of us that are looking to Bulgaria as a 4 seasons resort - did you intend to keep this going throughout the year?Cheers Oldieski

Not much point really, my intentions were for just during the winter period.November through to end of March.
Don't think too many will be interested in the snow conditions in June

great idea Pete at least we have got nearly 3 snow filled weeks to test it out and have a laugh. Who decides what is best and what is worst ? Do we have a vote on it ? PPExcellent idea... been on here everday for the last month and find it the best source of amusement/info/lowdown/contact/controversy ect. Well in fact everthing you could want, so to have it all distilled down into the essential. What can I say....fabulous darling
