Has anyone ever been skiing in this temperature? Do you have to wear thermals under salopettes and jacket etc?

YES,YES,YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. BUT WATCH THE WEATHER, IT DOES CHANGE QUITE QUICKLY. WE HAVE ACTUALLY TAKEN OFF OUR SKI JACKETS AT THE LODGE ON SOME OCCASIONS AND SUNBATHED IN STRAPPY TOPS!!! BELIEVE IT, WHEN THE SUN SHINES IT IS QUITE HOT

Thanks for your replies. I haven't got any - so hopefully i can buy them out there. I may just wear a tractsuit underneath - layers layers layers.

Hi Simon

Just arrived back from Pamps and on Thursday it was -30 with the wind chill factor FFFrrrreezing, my nine year old was cold in the face and hands, so yes lots of thin layers, we left Pamps today and it was -16, you will hardly notice the cold, apart from the face so wrap up warm
