Am I mad?
This is only my second ski trip and as I'm on a tight budget I thought I'd save money by avoiding the package holidays.
I've booked an apartment at the Royal Plaza and also found very cheap flights. I've sorted the entire holiday out for a family of 4 for under £1300 and am very pleased with myself!
However I'm starting to worry that I won't have the piece of mind when using a tour operator.
Do lots of inexperienced skiers do this?
Anyone know what the complex is ...

Anyone know what the complex is like?
Which is the nearest bar to it?
Any money saving tips for me? (I'm not mean, just broke from xmas but ski hol is a priority!)
Nope thats every thing with full ski packs.
Just need to eat and drink!
I live in Brighton but will fly from luton (booked through whizz) and the flights are about £50 each return + then some for taxes and bag allowance!. Not great arrival time but I can't have everthing on a budget!
I found the apartment from trawling the internet for hours and its £350. Average I think.
It pays to do your online homework
if you go away more than once look at an anual policy they work out a lot cheaper even with winter sport cover I payed £86 for a family cover this year.
Victoria,
You have done well as the Royal Plaza apartments are in one of the best positions in Borovets!......you can't go wrong ......everything is at your door step!!!
New complex with very nice apartments.
Enjoy your holiday.
