Snow cannons in Borovets

When will the snow cannons be used in boro and what slope are they on ,What condishons do they need to use them?

There are snow cannons in Borovets on the slopes in front of the Rila hotel....

Always seems to be a bit hit and miss as to when they are used but generally speaking the last couple of years they have been on frequently.

Hopefully this year will be cold enough they won't be needed as there will already be plenty of snow on the slopes

That sounds good is that the slope just below the gondola drop off, at top?

Turn left at top of gondola and go down towards the 4 man chair runs. It's the slopes down from the left of the mid-station.
