Fantastic week in boro with 10 mates. Very icy on lower green run, nursery slope by Rila almost melted away. Up top by Gondola is still really good. Stayed in Zodiac..... Although very basic, food ok and most importantly a very good powerful HOT shower! Room's clean and good shuttle service to town that finished at 4.30. We thought it was a bit early, however taxi was only 10 leva back to hotel. We had the best ski instructor " Bobby", what a gem. Liked a bit of banter which ended up with ...

A bit more snow would have suited us and a hotel nearer the slopes (because we are lazy people who wanted to roll in and out of the Rila bar without too much effort). Have fun.. More snow expected by Wednesday. Lets hope you have a blast in BORO!

Hi i got back on the 17th and had a great time as well again Rila slopes very icy or have melted away but the gondola runs are great, had a brilliant time and staying in the Samokov meant we didnt have far to walk hehe. Katys restaurant opposite Samokov was great for food and worked out only 98pence per pint could not ask for better
